Sunday School Information
And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the
Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who possess the Spirit-- 1

At Memorial, we offer a variety of classes that strive to meet the needs of
everyone, from infants to adults. All of our adult classes take pride in
supporting the many ministries of the church. They also take an active role
in supporting various ministries within our community and state. You will
find the opportunity to grow in your Christian faith through fellowship and
friendship with other believers. We hope to see you at 10:00 next Sunday!
Nursery - For infants through 1 year old, a nursery is provided. It is the
last room on the left on the 1st floor of the Family Life Center. For the
security and safety of your child, we ask that you please sign out a pager.
Preschool classes - Our children's classes are designed to nurture our
precious youngsters and teach them about Jesus and the Bible. The classes
are grouped based on age. Preschoolers meet on the 1st floor of the Family
Life Center. For the security and safety of your child, we ask that you
please sign out a pager.
School age classes - Our school age classes are based on the child's grade
in school and meet in the Education Building on the 1st floor.
Youth classes - Junior High Youth (6th - 8th grade) meet on the 2nd floor of
the Family Life Center in the last room on the left. Senior High Youth (9th
- 12th grade) also meet on the 2nd floor of the Family Life Center in the
2nd door on the right.
Cross Training Class - This class is made up of young adults, high school graduates, college students and recent college students, both singles and couples. Many different resources are used to study the word of God with class members and/or adults leading the discussions. They meet on the 2nd floor of the education building in the classroom over the Wesley Davenport Class.
Partners in Faith - Members are adult couples and individuals with ages
ranging from the late 20's to the 40's. This class studies the application
of Biblical principles to everyday life and meets on the 2nd floor of the
Family Life Center, in the 3rd room on the left.
The Foundations Class - Class members are primarily in their 30's and 40's,
but the class is open to all ages. The studies and discussion topics are
chosen by the members. It meets at on the 2nd floor of the Family Life
Center in the first room on the leftt.
The Carpenter's Helpers Class - This class is open to everyone. Many different resources are used to study the
word of God, with the Bible as the focus. Typically, class time consists of
question and answer sessions and open discussion. This class meets on the
2nd floor of the Family Life Center in the 4th room on the left.
Adults Unlimited - This class is comprised of members ranging in age from
40's to 50's, but is open to men and women of all ages, single or married.
They use a variety of Bible studies. The class meets on the 2nd floor of the
part of the Education Building that adjoins the sanctuary.
The Seekers Class - Members ages are from the 50's and up and include both
singles and couples. They enjoy meeting both socially as well as to study
God's word together. This class meets on the 2nd floor of the Family Life
Center, in the 2nd room on the left.
The Camak Class - Composed primarily of older couples and individuals, the Camak class is characterized by joy and caring for others. Member and guest
teachers lead discussions. The class meets in the Social Hall Building in
the classroom just down the hall from the lobby area, on the right.
The Ballenger-Duncan Class - This men's class begins each session with
fellowship and singing of hymns. It is followed by a lesson by various
teachers. This class meets in the Social Hall.
The Wesley-Davenport Class - This ladies' class is composed mostly of senior
adults. Singing of hymns begins each class. It meets next to the sanctuary,
on the opposite side of the building from the office.
The Eula Mayfield Class - The ladies of the Eula Mayfield Class bring
experience as teachers and community leaders to their weekly lessons,
joining in lecture and discussions with guest teachers from the
congregation. The
class meets in the Eula Mayfield Classroom, which adjoins the choir room,
behind the sanctuary in the Education Building.
Fifth Sunday - During months that have a fifth Sunday, most classes meet in
the social hall for coffee, snacks, fellowship, singing, and to hear a
special speaker from either the church or the community.
Know, Grow, & Go - This 8-week series offered a few times per year is aimed
at helping both newcomers and “old timers” in spiritual growth with fresh
ideas on faith. The goal of the series is to raise awareness of what goes on
at Memorial, why and how to participate inside or beyond the church in a way
that uses your talents. Join us in the Family Life Center!
